High profile Long Island attorney Dominic Barbara has decided to retire from practicing law after being slapped with a 18-month suspension.
Barbara is known for having represented famous people such as Howard Stern, Michael Lohan, Joey Buttafuco and Jessica Hahn. He was once called by New York Magazinethe “biggest, brassiest lawyer on Long Island). He was suspended due to “an avalanche of Grievance Committee sanctions” including 20 prior sanctions between 1988 and 2009.
