Lady GaGa has been announced as the recipient of this year’s ‘Fashion Icon Award’ by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.The weirdo star will be honoured “for being a fashion revolutionary impacting style today” at the 2011 CDFA Fashion Awards in June.
The singer has frequently hit the headlines for her unique fashion choices on stage and on the red carpet, including the dress made completely from raw meat she wore at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010.
