Large magnitude earthquake has hit northern areas of Japan, on Wednesday(03/09/2011). There is a warning of impending tsunamis in the region.
Radio broadcaster NHK reported, the earthquake that occurred on Wednesday (03/09/2011) was preceded by shocks measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale thatstruck northern Japan. NHK reported that the tsunami hazard is expected to hit the region.
